Utilising specialist sensory equipment, the Controlled Audio Visual Environment (C.A.V.E.) is a 30 minute experience designed to enrich the customer’s trip. A tranquil space, harnessing a beautiful balance of audio, visual and sensory stimulants composed to optimise relaxation. At 3.2m diameter, this unit can be disassembled, relocated and assembled in under 3 hours, making it perfect for empty units, quiet spaces on malls and in unused commercial spaces.

Sensory C.A.V.E. was born in response to the huge failing in the retail and leisure industry for the special needs community.
Currently, the only respite that these customers receive when requiring a ‘quiet space’ is the disabled toilet or changing facilities. There are no suitable or dedicated spaces for customers with sensory processing disorders, neurodiversity or PMLD.
The disabled community represents 22% of the British public, and subsequently the ‘Purple Pound’. 75% of disabled people and their families have walked away from a UK business because of poor accessibility or customer service. The annual estimated spending power of this community is £274 billion – and counting.

Meet the minds behind the magic! Sensory C.A.V.E. was created by two companies who together, brought both specialist equipment and over 30 years of industry experience in the retail and private sector, to bring the concept to fruition. We are ready to disrupt the ‘norm’ and continue to be advocates for this under-represented community. The days where a disabled toilet will suffice as a ‘box ticked’ are behind us, and we’re leading the change.

All external panels can be bespoke printed to be tailored to your site, whether you wish to use as advertising space or promote the C.A.V.E. itself – the choice is yours!
SELF LED & SELF SANITISABLE
Our online booking system has been designed to increase autonomy and reduce operational requirements. Visitors of your C.A.V.E. manage their own appointments and cancellations using our website. Only available slots appear on the booking calendar, if a slot is booked, the time disappears.
Once a booking is confirmed, a unique 4 digit code will be sent to the customer via the email address and mobile number provided.
The booking system generates up to 100 unique codes a day per C.A.V.E., which is used to access the experience.
Whilst the experience itself is 30 minutes, we have programmed each entry code to ‘time out’ after 20 minutes, giving a 20 minute window for a visitor to arrive and gain entry to the C.A.V.E.. For instance, if an appointment is at 2:00pm, you can use the unique code to access the C.A.V.E. between 2:00 – 2:20pm.
Each C.A.V.E. experience will automatically time out at 29 and 59 minutes past the hour, to ensure that no bookings overrun or overlap.
Sanitising wipes are provided in each C.A.V.E. to encourage users to quickly clean the space before and after their experience.
